Fueling Hope, One Meal at a Time
Join us in our daily mission to provide nutritious, life-sustaining meals to over 400 rescued residents at PRCA | Chhaya.
A Diverse Family, A Common Need
At the heart of our sanctuary is a vibrant, multi-species family, each with a story of survival. From the resilient street dogs and abandoned pedigrees in our kennels to the gentle cows and bulls in our gaushala, every life here depends on us for their most basic need: food. Our gates are also open to the weary—retired horses once used for carriages, goats rescued from neglect, and even the occasional camel in need of refuge. While their species vary, their hunger is the same, and providing them with a steady, species-specific diet is the first step in their journey toward healing.
Species-Specific Nutrition & Care
Feeding at PRCA is a science of compassion. Our canines receive high-protein, freshly cooked meals designed to boost their immunity after years of scavenging. For our bovines, horses, and goats, we provide a rich mix of green fodder, dry hay, and essential concentrates to restore their strength. Even our larger residents, like camels, require specialized desert-adjacent shrubs and nutrients. We ensure that every animal—regardless of age or infirmity—receives the exact caloric intake they need to recover from past trauma and thrive in their new forever home.
Be the Reason They Never Go Hungry
The cost of nourishing such a large and diverse population is one of our greatest daily challenges. By choosing to “Feed an Animal,” you aren’t just providing a meal; you are providing a day of peace, a night of comfort, and the strength for a broken body to mend. Whether you wish to sponsor a day of Gauseva, provide a week of meals for our Canine ward, or ensure our horses and goats stay healthy, your contribution directly reaches their bowls. Celebrate a birthday, honor a memory, or simply share your blessings by fueling the lives of those who cannot ask for help themselves.
