Passive Animal Adoption

Be Their Guardian: Passively Adopt an Animal at Chhaya

At Chhaya Animal Hospital, we rescue numerous animals from illegal transportation, accidents, and abandonment. Our Baal Gaushala, a special shelter for abandoned male calves, and our expanding facilities for Gauvansh (cows) provide safe haven for these gentle beings who have nowhere else to go.

What is Passive Adoption?

Passive adoption means you become a guardian and supporter of a rescued cow without taking the animal home. The cow permanently stays at Chhaya under our professional care while you provide the love and financial support they need. You cannot take the cow to your home – they remain in our sanctuary for life.

Understanding Passive Adoption

THE COW STAYS AT CHHAYA FOREVER
This program is perfect for those who want to make a difference but cannot accommodate large animals at home.

1

Your adopted cow will never leave our sanctuary

2

You cannot take the cow to your home under any circumstances

3

This is purely a sponsorship and guardianship program

4

The cow receives professional care, food, shelter, and medical treatment at our facility

5

You become their supporter and sponsor, not their physical caretaker

Our Adoption Stories

5

"This bull was rescued from Chakdah, Nadia. Both of his horns were chopped off and became maggot-infested. To make matters worse, his leg was fractured, leaving him unable to move properly."
Today, he lives peacefully at our sanctuary, thanks to supporters like you.
